India’s premier craftsmanship-based cosplay competition is coming to 7 cities this season - Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Bengaluru, Kolkata & Mumbai. Each city will host one ICC Qualifier on the final day of Comic Con, where the city’s top cosplayer will be selected to compete at the ICC Finals.
Submit your application with detailed costume photos and reference images before the registration deadline. Applications will be reviewed by the Comic Con India team, and shortlisted contestants will receive further details about prejudging and the competition via email.

Contestants will be judged on 100% of their costume, regardless of the skill category they choose.

Needlework, Armour, FX.
But here’s the twist - judges will evaluate your entire costume, regardless of the category you enter.
So yes, every stitch, sculpt, prop and special effect counts! Your costume needs to bring the whole package.
Category winners will be announced across Needlework, Armour and FX.
From these category winners, one overall City Champion will receive INR ₹50,000* and advance to the Indian Championship of Cosplay Finals.
Cosplay is all about creativity, but we’ve got a few rules to keep the competition safe, fair and fun for everyone.
♦ All participants must sign a permission/release/waiver form at prejudging.♦ Unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate disqualification.♦ No profanity, political, or religious statements on stage, signs, or costumes.♦ Judges’ and CCI’s decisions are final and binding.♦ CCI reserves the right to modify, cancel, or suspend the qualifier in case of unforeseen circumstances (fraud, technical failure, or safety concerns).♦ Participation implies consent to event photography and videography for promotional use.
