Hyderabad

Cosplaying as

Adepta Sororitas - Sisters of Battle
Warhammer 40k

Pracheta is also an award winning Cosplayer and has won the Indian Cosplay Championship 2025 Hyderabad for Needlework, Grand Prize and Category Award (Gaming) for Cosplay in Mumbai Comic Con 2017 and Category award in Delhi Comic Con 2016. Born in the northeastern Indian state of West Bengal in 1994, Pracheta took up art seriously at the age of 11 and was awarded the Chitra Child Art Institute National Award for Colouring, where she received a gold medal for securing first place a year after she started painting.

She cosplayed as the Adepta Sororitas, also known as the Sisters of Battle from Warhammer 40K, fulfilling a dream cosplay project. The construction involved creating foam armor that was primed and painted, styling a wig, and performing needlework using velvet and rexine to complete the outfit. While Soham Roy provided 3D prints made from TPU 95A, the cosplayer primed them with a car surfacer, which stiffened the filament but ultimately resulted in a successful finish. Throughout the process, various challenges were managed, such as creating custom patterns from scratch to ensure proper fitting and navigating difficult assembly requirements for certain attachments.
