Akshay Churi, a.k.a. The Red Comet, has won the Indian Championship of Cosplay (ICC) jury’s choice award for his phenomenal portrayal of Doomguy from Doom Eternal. A production manager from Mumbai and a passionate cosplayer since 2015.
Akshay earned a cash prize of 2.25 lakhs and a grand trophy for his extraordinary craftsmanship. His build, years in the making, combined materials like EVA foam, wood, PVC, upholstery foam, 3D printing, and LED lighting to create a show-stopping, high-detail costume. His dedication, technical skill, and powerful stage presence brought Doomguy to life in a way that wowed the jury and the audience alike.

Souvik Mitra, a.k.a. BombaTheBuilder, has won the Fan Favourite Award at the Indian Championship of Cosplay for his jaw-dropping portrayal of Dahaka from Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.
Representing Kolkata, Souvik wowed audiences with a hauntingly accurate recreation of the fearsome force of time, winning himself a cash prize of 1.15 lakhs and a grand trophy. From hand-sculpting a muscle suit out of upholstery foam to mastering airbrushing and even building a wearable smoke machine, his dedication to realism and atmosphere set him apart. Every detail, from the chains to the eerie aura of his cosplay was crafted from scratch, earning him the love and votes of fans across the country
