COSPLAYING AS Dahaka - Prince of Persia

‍I’m a cosplayer from Kolkata, known online as BombaTheBuilder. For the Indian Cosplay Championship, I chose to bring to life the relentless force of time itself—Dahaka. The character’s dark, nightmarish design challenged me to step out of my comfort zone and try techniques I’d never attempted before.

From sculpting a muscle suit using upholstery foam to learning airbrushing for realistic textures, this build was full of firsts. I also engineered a wearable smoke machine to recreate Dahaka’s eerie aura on stage. Every element—from chains to paintwork—was crafted by hand to make the character feel real.

Winning the ICC Kolkata qualifier was an unforgettable experience. Now I’m excited to take this project to the national stage and share my work with a wider audience.
