COSPLAYING AS Monster Hunter

My name is Pravin know as pkprops in cosplaying community. I won the 2025 Bangalore Qualifier for ICC VFX cosplay with my Monster hunter Cosplay.

By profession I am software architect but by passion I am Prop maker and a Cosplayer. I have been cosplaying for about 7 years. For this cosplay many problems solving happened which also help me experiment and learn. This took about 6 months to complete, working whenever I can.

Many techniques like foam smithing, Airbrush painting, weathering, fabric work, Leather effect on foam, LED animation and electronics were used. The sword is build out of EVA foam and CPVC Pipes which also has Neo pixel LEDs for Animation. I really enjoyed the process and tried as much as possible to bring justice to this cosplay.
