Nidus Phryke (Mutated) – Cosplay by Jeet Molankar (Mumbai)-
This is my Nidus Phryke (Mutated Version) cosplay from Warframe. I began by 3D modeling the entire structure in Blender, then created patterns in Pepakura, and built the suit using EVA foam, foam clay, 3D printed parts, resin, and metal. The head features 17 illuminated eye holes and a transparent brain with dynamic neuron animation pulsing in all colors. Animatronic shoulder eyes move independently, adding lifelike movements. The clear resin 3D printed arms reveal a glowing skeleton structure.
The costume is wrapped in gold foil, giving it an authentic metal finish and amplifying its intense, monstrous aura. I walk on 12-inch slanted metal stilts, bringing the total height to over 7 feet.This cosplay blends craftsmanship, electronics, and character interpretation to create something truly monstrous. Every visual, mechanical, and structural element was carefully designed and built by hand. It’s not just a costume—it’s a living, glowing mutation brought to life.
