My name is Asmita Ghosh, also known by my stage name Chiropteran Queen. I’m a cosplayer from Kolkata, India, driven by a love for mythic storytelling and powerful characters. One of my most rewarding projects has been bringing Göndul from God of War to life.
As the second strongest Valkyrie, Göndul inspires me with her valor, strength, and commanding presence. Her character represents resilience, elegance, and fearless power—all qualities I admire deeply. Crafting her intricate costume was both a challenge and a joy. I worked with a range of materials and techniques including resin casting, foam etching, molding, electronics(actuators, LEDs) and detailed layered painting.
Every piece was built with care and precision to capture the depth and majesty of the Valkyrie. Cosplaying Göndul has been a transformative experience that pushed my creative limits and allowed me to honor a character who stands as a true symbol of strength and determination.
